Lament - Violin and Piano

Hi all,

I started a new project.  Here's the initial sketch/intro.

A good start on an harmonically adventurous piece. You might have the piano and violin play solos in places to vary the texture. As always, know what the motives you are using in the music, and reuse and develop them to avoid "rambling".

As Laments go, this one has a pretty peppy tempo - it is almost dance-like in spots.  You could experiment with a slower tempo.
