it IS a silly puzzle, but requires a tiny bit of understanding of a certain repertoire.
I've already dropped a few hints in some threads so far.

My try on a certain Mr Greens' work featuring a court jester didn't work. I later came to understand only one pagliaccio was not enough at all..which takes one to its frequent companion and so comes the solution to the great mystery formulated in culinary terms.
