Origins of works
« on: May 22, 2020, 02:29:06 PM »
Maybe it's being in lockdown for COVID-19 for so long, I don't know. I have an interest lately in why composers write what they write. I know that can be as simple as, "I was asked to do it." Still, I'm wondering if when you post music, you might also say a few words on a piece's origin--what led you to compose what you wrote, and why you may have chosen the form, style, and other elements of the work.
