I never wrote anything in the sphere of minimalism before so I wanted to give it a try and expand my horizons. Because the harmony remains stagnant throughout the entire piece, I was forced to incorporate varying rhythms and syncopations to keep things interesting which was a lot of fun.

Hey, Oscar -

I enjoyed that very much; it was great fun! I could totally hear that playing behind a suspenseful scene in a film or television show.

As I listened I couldn't help thinking that simply jumping to a new tonal center once or twice, perhaps just in the left hand or both, without otherwise making significant changes to the basic material might provide an extra feature of interest.  I can understand that you may well not be interested in making changes at this point but just thought I'd throw out my $0.02.

Thanks for sharing this!

Best,
Allen
