Here is the 99% completed work.

I tried to enhance it's fullness and forward movement.

Your adagio does sound more complete. It now feels like a interlude, like something that could be used as incidental music for a play or a movie cue.

The harmony works well to create a gentle, elegiac ambiance.

A nice piece, thought, as Jay said, this feels like an interlude and to me doesn't have the heft needed to be a standalone piece.

However, the handling of the material is done well in terms of creating, as Jay said, an elegiac feel.

I do think that the material could be well served by adding a little a bit more deepness (for lack of a better term) to the current material as well as adding a contrasting (perhaps even more emotive) section (not that there's anything wrong with what you've presented here).
