Mark,

Looks like it was fun.

Maybe the conductor thought it was festive.  ???   ::)   :-\   :-X   :o

We had a mixed audience and a grand performance of kids/teens from a local dance school to 2 of our selections: Winter Wonderland and Dance of the Tumblers.

Mark,

Intonation problems aside (esp. in the horns), it was marvelous.

Is your head visible in there somewhere?

Cheers,
Jer

The horn section (players) are in 3 orchestras.  There are constant concerns.  Unfortunately .... very few replacements are available.  My conductor in another symphonic orchestra has very high expectations which are constantly thwarted by the horns.  Furthermore - these are not youngsters~!  Most amazingly is their impervious nature and lack of realization of their limitations.

I personally cringe at times.  >:(

I continue to study primarily because I know my limitations!!!!!

Mark

PS: You can't see me - I am right in front of the conductor.  :(
